Feature 1: I use the Notes app on my Boox Tab XC for a mix of handwritten notes and pasted text. When I'm in any pen mode, the two-finger pan gesture works perfectly can move around the canvas freely. But the moment a text box is active (e.g. after I paste something), the two-finger parn completely

Calendar (4.2) Add support for WebDAV/CalDAV VTODO synchronization, VEVENT is nice and all but honestly for me somewhat less useful Add support for the handwritten calendar memo for a day to be appended as an attachment to either VTODOs or VEVENTs USI

Hello Boox :) My feature request: Feature: Export searchable handwritten notes as PDF The Friction: When I export my handwritten notes, they lose the ability to be searched on my computer or my iPad. Your Suggestion: Amazon Kindle has the option to export a searchable pdf with my handwritten notes.

I had the paper pro and loved the writing feel. However, I found the same limits and switched to a TAB XC. I hoped it would do everything you’re asking it to do above excluding the languages. I think it works pretty well. I did put a healing shield on the screen to improve the writing and that was g

overwhelmingly, yes. the Kindle Scribe is really only useful for a particular kind of person who is still primarily concerned only with reading in the Amazon ecosystem. it is also wildly overpriced for what it does. for grad students I would recommend either the Supernote Manta, Note Air5 C, Go 10.3

No, don't believe it. Boox never updates the Android version on its devices. In March there will surely be a renewal and the new Tab X2 C will include Android 15. Edit: I don't know why they downvoted me. Everything I said is true.

I'm an academic too. I would always go for something that let's you read pdfs fullscreen at a comfortable size (eink isn't great to be needing to pan and zoom all the time so I wouldn't recommend any of the standard 10-11" devices). Which basically leaves 3 options- the Boox Note Max (black and whit

Quite honestly the security concerns are way overblown in my opinion. The question is does the device work well on the current operating system and I can tell you that it does. It's unlikely that Boox will release a newer version for at least a couple years. My guess is that with the success of the

The screens are more 1992 than 2025. Limited color space, slow refresh on the screen and the like. Any e-ink device will look deficient if compared to a modern tablet screen. The benefits are longer screen time and eyes that still feel great after a long reading session. The older tablet designs tha

E-ink tablets are good for all students. You will have to figure out your workflow depending on which one you get, but they all make studying and learning easier, more productive, and more pleasant. B&w is great for reading, while the Boox Tab XC is the best for color detail. You may need an LCD lap
