About handwriting OCR…
Notewise destroys the Onyx Boox OCR. You can keep your notes exported from onyx boox exported as vector PDF, import into notewise as PDFand then you keep adding to your notes manually or search all of your notes via the AI for that notebook. The only downside is there's 150 page limit

Small e-reader device to read academic books in pdf
Yeah. Some e-readers like boox have a PDF feature to TRY to address this, by splitting a PDF page into four quadrants. I've tried that and still it is not that good. While it eliminates the dreaded janky zooming in and out by just splitting one pdf page into 4 pages that is zoomed in, it doesn't bod

Used my Pro for at another gig and loved it.
I don't often use charts, but the lack of bluetooth page turning and the unreliable page turning gesture (though seems better in recent versions?) stop me from using the RMPP for music. I've used an Onyx Boox Note Pro successfully, despite its smaller screen, because of the page-turning support, but

Best way to read charts behind the kit without the glare
I’ve gone through so many setups trying to go paperless. Started with an old 10 inch samsung, then moved to the 12.9 ipad because I needed more space, but the eye strain after a 3-hour rehearsal was brutal. I even tried a boox e-ink reader for a while, but the lag during page turns was a total night

Onyx Boox Go Color 7 (gen ii), page turn buttons not working
Not all apps do, yes. It’s a pity but I guess not all app designers consider that some people will have devices with some sort of buttons. :( (It’s annoying. The main app I got my Boox Go 7 for - a local subscription service app - doesn’t recognise any buttons at all, and it’s so frustrating, especi

Changelog as of Nov 21: Two Column Reading Mode, Document Chat Links, Themed Connections Reviews, Improved Document Loading, & More!
I'm not seeing any 2-column mode on my Onyx Boox Note Air 2 either. The only options under "Pagination" are continuous and paged, even in landscape mode. Bug? (As an aside, I've found that having two columns in portrait mode is really nice in koreader. I really hope Reader revisits the decision to m

Bigme B6 vs Kobo Clara
hmmm for me i use koreader and the page turning was still pretty slow. it would take forever for me to make any changes in formatting. i did not like the native reader app at all. in my experience it was j slow overall, kinda like a laggy device. if boox is snappier i would say go for boox instead.

December Bug Reports: Ask Here.
Experiencing some unexpected behaviour when using horizontal pagination across devices. I use an horizontal pagination on an iPad Mini, which works great. Then when I switch to my Boox Go Color 7 on the same document/book, with the file still in horizontal pagination mode (even though it displays ve
