[April 2026 Megathread] UX Feedback & Feature Improvements
In the notes app: Friction: trying to find specific notes from months back in a large notebook is very challenging. Recommendations: SuperNote has the title function where you could select some words and create a title or chapter marker from that selection. Then, in the navigator, you could easily s

thank you so much for letting us do that, this is so great to be able to be part of this UI/UX journey!Devices : Note Max + boox go 10.3 gen 1Feature 1: Notes The Friction: the whole note system contains a huge number of friction as many already said in the thread but I think it all boils down to tw

Boox Tab X C or Note Max refresh soon? Android 13 is EOL.
I'm fed up with the niche suppliers screwing over consumers by not offering upgrades to known issues. Boox and Bigme should not be rewarded with increased sales with their appalling support Personally I really would be in the market for the Tab XC. I love it. I love the Note Max. But the lack of sup

looking for thoughts on the Note X5 Mini and how it could be internationalized
Thanks for putting together the note. I really hope Boox team would see this. I already have a number of eink devices, Go 7, Palm 1, Note Max, Kindle Scribe 1 (tonight's announcement will be interest!) and I really wanted something with a small form factor, with front light and EMR support. After a

Why are ereader screens so fragile?
Used to be the only way you could get 13 inch screens (most of the big BOOX before the Note Max were Mobius). But, yes, expensive, not as crisp and some report a less satisfactory writing experience.

It's Official! Tab XC 13.3 Color Kaleido 3 Just Dropped
I'm going to guess that within 3 months, there will be a 13.3 inch Note Max C that will be a better device than this glass screen, suboptimal non EMR surface pen Tab X C. That said, dammit about my willpower given I've been waiting 7 years for a Boox 13.3 inch color device.

Advice for Artist getting first time e-ink drawing tablet
Professional digital artist here. Eink isn't ready for fully featured digital art. Colour accuracy and brightness is atrocious even with eye watering cost and colour accuracy comes at the cost of speed of refresh. Even then it isn't close to even cheap emissive screens. The best you've got is a devi

Boox, Fix your firmware! (Cannot disable pinch to zoom/touch control)
I’m having the same issues with my new Boox Note Max, and I’m seriously considering returning it. Writing in the Notes app feels unstable. Palm rejection isn’t reliable, and it keeps zooming accidentally while I’m trying to write. Erasing is extremely laggy in the Notes app. If I use a stylus with a

Yet another RMPP vs NA5C comparison (for writing & note taking)
I know writing feel is a very subjective thing in general, but being an owner of a Boox note max, supernote manta and RMPP, I always end up back on the RMPP as I just enjoy the “scratchy” writing feel best. At least for me, remarkable is the best in the business for this. I agree that the software o

RMPP Review - 1.5 Years Later
The Bad is fair, but in my book, just annoyances and far from deal breakers. Mods make a lot of them better. For me, the light is a non-issue. If it could go brighter, I wouldn’t do it. No need to bake my eyeballs. A screen doesn’t need to glow. You just need to be able to read it comfortably, and t
