I am in a crisis
I have had a kobo touch (quilted back), kindle paperwhite 2018, Kobo Libra 2, Kobo Libra Color, boox palma, and now boox go 7 gen 2. Ended up returning the KLC (dead pixel and hated the color filter on the screen) and Boox Palma (did not have the patience to set it up, and did not use it enough to j

Looking for an Android-friendly, open Color e-reader
For 7" i think the The Onyx BOOX Go Color 7 Gen II may meet your needs. I have an older BOOX, not this specific device. Generally I have found their devices to be well built. Software support lasts a year after release. Gen II was released in May 2024, so I expect the final firmware to be release th

Questions about Go color 7 gen 2
Some of your questions can be answered by watching My Deep Guide’s comparison video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hgr9tDI4vGQ He talks about the screen differences in the beginning of the video. Ignore what he comments about the white model’s buttons being defective/getting stuck— seemed to only

Looking for my perfect eReader
Boox Go Color 7 gen II if you want color Boox Go 7 if you want black and white Nothing that runs android is going to have better battery life than a Linux ereader (like a Kindle), so you'll need to greatly lower your expectations on that. That said, these tablet's battery life is still pretty good!

Kobo or Boox: Which did you choose? FAQ feedback appreciated.
I had a Kobo Forma (which i loved dearly but it started having issues so i had to replace it) and was looking to replace it with a Kobo Libra Color or Boox Go Color 7 Gen 2. I ended up going with the Boox because the fact that it’s an Android based device gives you access to Android apps. I read a l

Help me decide!
Boox go color 7 gen 2 if you want color or Boox go 7 if you want monochrome. I have a Boox Go Color Gen 2, and it's amazing! It's like a Kindle Oasis, Colorsoft, Scribe, and Paperwhite had an eink tablet that can use apps. I have the Kindle, Audible, Libby, Bookfunnel, and other apps on it. I'm kind

Best colored e-reader?
I have a Kobo libra colour and the Boox go 7 colour gen 2. I have a micro sd card filled with books and manga. My boox go 7 gen 2 is my absolute favourite. Since the last update bookcovers finally look better on the Boox than on the Kobo. It’s sleek and smaller and just a really nice device. Snappy,

From paperbooks to Pocketbook Verse
There is something to say for both of them. Not one is a clear winner over the other, wich is why I hesitated too long to sent the Kobo back. The one I use the most is the Boox. But if the Boox go color 7 gen 2 and the Kobo libra colour could make a baby, I think you would have the best e-reader in

Decision fatigue
I have a Boox Go Colo 7 Gen II and I love it. It's not easy to set up but once you do, it's great. You jave to play a little bit with the settings for optimal color reading, and the text on ebooks is little bit grainier, but it's still so worth it. In my opinion, it looks more like paper than a Kind

Recommended tablets.
i got an onyx boox note air last year and honestly, it's been pretty solid for reading. the onyx boox go color 7 gen ii sounds cool too, like the color e-ink is nice if you wanna read comics or whatever, but i think the note air is better for novels. it’s got this great note-taking feature and the b
