If XTeink decides to make a bigger device, I think this is the ideal size
There are so many great 6-7" e-ink readers already. Not saying xteink couldnt make their version of such a device a great one but to me the size of x4 and x3 is what really differentiates them from the competition. I have the Boox Go 7" and the x4 and to me that's the perfect combo - Boox at home an

What is so bad about Boox ereaders?
So I have to say that this was not true for my Boox Go 7. I came on board expecting to have to install a bunch of apps, or at least replace what I presumed was going to be a crappy ereader/ui.... But no, the Boox Go 7 BW out of the box just functions as an ereader. There's no installing anything unl

Does this ereader exist?
Boox Go 7 BW meets all of these. I love the physical buttons and you don’t have to side load anything as it supports Google play store natively! Oh annotation typing would be the only criteria it doesn’t meet but typing on ebook is never a great experience because of input delays (though go7 is pret

RIP Kindle Oasis - What's next?
There are a few Android eInk devices that are very similar to the 7’’ Oasis 2 and 3 in size and shape - Boox Go 7 for example, but there are others. They won’t have the battery life of good dedicated e-readers (Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook) but offer all sorts of flexibility. (And battery life isn’t as

What is so bad about Boox ereaders?
I came from the kindle to Boox Go 7 in October and it shipped with a stable UI, a good reader, and it's all integrated. You wouldn't even know it's Android if you didn't look for it.

Kobo or Boox: Which did you choose? FAQ feedback appreciated.
I choose Boox Go 7 BW. I like it very much, and do not regret it. It allows me to use any app or ebook store.

Kindle or Boox 🤔 (or something else entirely 🫣)
I switched to Boox because I realized it was sitting unused for long periods because I was reading more on other apps than I was Kindle books. So for me, it became necessary since reading on a tablet was giving me migraines. Lots of people also have multiple devices just because. Maybe search the us

Kindles and DRM...take 2...a more visual version of yesterday's list...probably should have done it this way to start
I have a Boox Go 7. Not as simple as a Kindle but the freedom is worth it.

Been thinking about buying a kindle for reading Japanese manga, would it work from overseas?
unless they changed something you can just load converted epubs via calibre (azw3 or mobi iirc). manga is going to suck on all einks. if you can i would look into something other than kindle. android devices like boox go 7 have access to more tools (yomitan with ttu reader and anki integration) and
