it's not just battery life, I have an Onyx Boox Go 7 running android and it's so sluggish, sure you can use kindle and kobo apps but it's absolutely not enjoyable, both apps are slow as fuck, glitchy, not optimized. Android is not developed for devices with 500mb ram or even 2GB ram

Can confirm it's not a faulty device, it's just how it is. The reason being it's an Android device and the hardware is minimal + the eink slowness adds to the perception it's laggy. Don't waste your time with the Boox Go 6, it has too low RAM to be functional. Go 7 is great but all modern eink devices are fragile like eggs

Don't buy the boox go 6, it's slow and old, hopefully boox will come out with a new one soon. The only android 6 inch ereader to buy now would be the bigme b6. Dont get the bigme read 6 by accident it's even slower than the boox go 6.

Don't get the boox go 6. It's old and slow. If you want a 6 inch get the bigme b6 its a lot better. The 7 inch boox go 7 is a lot better for reading comics and much faster than the go 6. If you don't need color don't get one as your primary reader, they are great as a second ereader, I have one and
