Any tips for Textbooks and Scientific Papers?

Honestly, this is probably not the device for image-heavy PDF files, in my opinion. You may be better served with a larger e-ink device. I have used some of the larger color e-ink devices from Onyx Boox for this purpose. They are not cheap, but provide a much nicer experience.

Looking for cheap small ereader for Libby, Reddit, calibre.

Spend a little more around $180US and get the bigme b6, you can get it in b&w or color. Before the b6 came out I would have recommended the boox go 6. The b6 is 2x better than the boox, android 14 vs 11, 4+64 memory vs 2+32, 2.4 cpu vs 1.8, 2300mah battery vs 1500mha, speaker and microphone and ai v

kobo clara bw or boox go 6 for ao3 fanfics?

Boox is much easier if you’re mainly downloading fanfics, though there are ways to make the process better on Kobo. Can you wait for an upgrade to the Boox Go 6 (assuming one is coming)? Google ended security updates for Android 11 in 2024. I’m not sure why Boox is still shipping those devices, give

In six inch there the bigme b6 avaliable in both color and b&w, there's the boox go 6 b&w its old and slow but it does have a excellent pdf reflow reading app. But if you don't read pdf stay away from it. There's also meebook m6 and musnap 6 inch but th

Is bigme b6 bad as everyone says it is

The b6 is in many ways better than boox go 6 ereaders. They have better ghosting, faster, less reports of screens breaking, have speakers. The only things better on the boox is the reading app when using pdf files. Most complain about the color but that's with any color ereader and now the b6 is ava

PocketBook users: what matters most to you?

For me, the UI is the most important thing, not necessarily speed. I used to have an Onyx Boox running Android, and it was a nightmare. After switching to a Pocketbook, I started enjoying using it precisely because of the user interface, even though it runs slower than Onyx.

Looking for e-reader with PDF readability

I’ve searched high and low for a device that handles pdfs well, and finally came to the conclusion after trying many options, the best PDF/note system is an iPad and the Goodreader app. The second best was the Onyx Boox Note Air Plus 2. Though I’m pretty sure there are newer models. I just sold this

Go 6 vs Go 7

If you want 7 inch the go 7 is a great ereader. If you want 6 inch stay away from the boox go 6 and the bigme read 6 they are both old and slow. For 6 inch look at the bigme b6 its a much better ereader. The only ones I recomend the boox go 6 to is someone that's likes to read pdf file, it has a goo
