Multi band router issue

I set up a guest network on 2.4ghz only and moved all my IOT devices onto it, which includes my Blink cameras. No issues at all, everything is running smoothly. This avoids the band-steering tech built into new routers that can mess up devices they must stay on 2.4ghz. For you, try it for just the d

another logitech circle view doorbell question

Your previous blink video doorbell was able to ring your physical chime and be powered from the doorbell wires without a special adapter? Even the ring doorbells need a similar adapter. Without it, the video doorbell pulling power through the wiring all the time would partially actuate the doorbell

Is anyone happy with their Eufy system?

Moved from Ring and Blink to Eufy a little over a year ago and love it. 3 cameras and a doorbell, quality video, and quick to connect when checking live (had an issue with Blink taking forever/failing). I also saw a lot of negativity on here, chalked it up to Reddit users being Reddit users and glad

Weekly Stupid Question Sunday

Wired floodlight cams. The video and sound quality is lacking, connectivity and motion detection issues, live view can be laggy, issues with the app. We have a long range router, so it's not the wifi. They're okay, and have held up to various weather situations, but when some stuff went down in our

Have Gen1 camera. See the "newest model" Gen 2 is on sale for 30. Should I upgrade?

If it is the doorbell then I upgraded mine and it totally changed my perception of blink. Prior to this the first gen doorbell regularly would not show video when live was selected, notifications were not generated it received for movement. I was looking for alternatives and seen a great deal on the

Doorbell camera that doesn’t use internet and records straight to an as card

Blink with sync module will record straight to a USB stick in the sync module. The sync module connects to WiFi for the app but the doorbells actually have both a 2.4ghz WiFi and a 900mhz ISM band radio to talk to the sync module. WiFi and internet are needed for the app but crucially for me it work

Advice needed

I’ve looked at several video doorbells, and decided on Blink over the others including Ring, for several reasons- not the least of which was price point. I have two video doorbells installed front and rear - and have been very satisfied. I also tried the Outdoor 4 cameras but they were just a little

Would you do it over again?

Nope! I have a new model video doorbell in front and my original video doorbell in the back. Both of them work great and with the new model the selective identification of people, vehicles and other is terrific! I did have some trouble keeping my Outdoor 4 cameras on line and I wound up returning th

Camera live view slow to show

I just bought one from Costco. The 2.0 version and the camera is load within three seconds. Heck of a lot better than which required hardwired for every camera or doorbell and $100 a month for backup video. Blink is $100 a year and I’ll take that and their quality over Ring any day.
