We use the Blink indoor/outdoor cameras. These are my old XT2s. For these shelters at the back of our yard, the connection is sometimes iffy. For my birthday, I was just gifted the Blink Sync XR module—which will extend the WiFi range solidly to 400+ feet. Plus a few newer Blink Outdoor 4 cameras to

We're able to turn the motion sensing off without subscription. They are battery operated and so far the battery l

We use Blink outdoor 4 XR cameras around our place. They’re marketed as having a 400 ft range and we have one in our detached garage at 200 ft with no issue. I use Tactacam cellular trail cameras around my place as well but they have an annual subscription that gets expensive pretty quick.

The battery powered cameras, like the outdoor Gen 4, can detect motion up to 20 ft away from the camera, as long as that motion is created by something the size of a vehicle.
