Anyone using new Sync Module XR?
The new sync module with XR or XR+ mode MAY help. Or they might not. RF is funny that way. There is no way of telling until you try it. My most distant blink outdoor-4 camera won’t work or even connect on XR or XR+, but works passably well on WiFi. Go figure.

Camera recommendations wifi/cellular
We use Blink outdoor 4 XR cameras around our place. They’re marketed as having a 400 ft range and we have one in our detached garage at 200 ft with no issue. I use Tactacam cellular trail cameras around my place as well but they have an annual subscription that gets expensive pretty quick.

Blink outdoor 4 camera not working 3 stories high
The battery powered cameras, like the outdoor Gen 4, can detect motion up to 20 ft away from the camera, as long as that motion is created by something the size of a vehicle. I suspect your third story is more than 20 ft off the ground, not even including the distance created by the angle it's posit
