tilt tension alone probably won't cut it for heavy braking - i tried that and still got lean back. you want a chair with a true tilt lock that clicks into position not just tension. the Blacklyte Athena Pro is actually a solid choice for this. another option is GTPlayer Pro - has a locking mechanism

for $800 the best cushioning and support you can get in my opinion would be the secret labs titan nanogen (and it’s on sale rn) if your on the budget the blacklyte athena pro or regular version if you don’t care for lumbar for around $300. but do not get the regular titan its seat feels like a brick

Only have experience with the Secret Lab Titan Evo and Blacklyte Athena. Secret Lab chairs are overpriced, but you do get one of the most premium chairs on the market. It's super comfortable, materials feel premium, and have pretty amazing adjustability. Blacklyte Athena is more affordable, but this
