I find both brands to have a backrest as hard as a wooden plank! They are both so uncomfortable. I bought a Blacklyte Athena Pro hoping it would be comfier, but that was a big mistake. I would rather buy an Anda Kaiser or go full ergonomic from now, the likes of Fractal Design Refine.

How "plush" and comfy is the backrest? I bought a Blacklyte Athena Pro not long ago and ended up selling it cause the backrest was as good as a wooden board and made my back so painful I had to go back to my old and battered AK Racing Core Series LX Plus. I really like the backrest on the AK Racing

The SecretLab Titan Evo Lite is great for your height and weight. The lumbar support and adjustable stuff should be good for your back. If you're looking to save some cash, check out the BlackLyte Athena It might not be as supportive as the secretLab, though. Have you looked at ergonomicchairfinder?

Update for you. After using that backpad for about a week, I think it is a workable solution. However, I got to try the Kraken Pro, and for me, it was a night-and-day difference. The adaptive air lumbar is significantly more comfortable and supportive, and I can tell the chair's construction is diff
