How many “onebags” do you own?
I have multiple mainly because I can’t help buying them. Patagonia black hole mlc 45l, Cotopaxi Allpa 40l, and 2 Cotopaxi Allpa 20l. My next purchase will be the Allpa 28l for my under the seat bag. I am considering selling my black hole because I don’t like it all that much. I prefer the Allpa 40l.

Talk Me Out of Buying the Matador GlobeRider 45?
The Patagonia Black Hole MLC 45L is really great bag. It has lots of internal organization and a great laptop spot. It has one major con...no external pocket to stuff your passport, wallet, phone, headphones so you have to open your bag and dig around for stuff a lot. Otherwise its a great bag. That

MLC 45L vs mini mic 30L
Heya, I have the 45 MLC and a 30 Refugio which is not what you're asking about but I think I have enough experience with both while traveling to give you some idea. Bag Finder Megathread - 06 April 2026
I’m looking for a 40-45L travel pack to bridge the gap between my massive 65L hauler and my smaller 20-35L daypacks. Before the "just pack smaller" crowd chimes in, I physically can't: I have to carry bulky shoes for health reasons, cold/wet weather gear, a 16” laptop for work, and heavy camera lens

Looking for a backpack, frequent traveler
if you're looking for a carryon / overhead bag that is bigger than the yeti, but very similar in layout - check out the Black Hole MLC 45L. they also have a Mini MLC at 30L, but it looks like it would be essentially the same as your existing bag.

Planning to do a 3 day overnight hike in grampians australia in sept, can i just use the patagonia blackhole 55?
MLC 45l should be looked at like a black hole duffle bag with better straps and tech organization. Backpacks are great but sometimes you just want to drag your expedition duffle around.
