[PSA] Firmware 5.19.X Possibly Unjailbreakable (For Like, Really Long)

This is why I've bought a Bigme B7 Pro. It has none of the Kindle limitations and Android allows me to use the Kindle and Nook Apps for the ebooks I do have in those formats. The added plus is being able to use the Olive Tree Bible Reader App for church use and private reading. Even a jailbroke Kind

Umm..

never heard of it in my life; unlikely it supports fast refresh modes. a Boox Go 7 or Bigme B7 Pro on the other hand could do this easily. ETA: quad core and 1 GB RAM from 5 years ago, wtf are you doing lol https://goodereader.com/blog/electronic-readers/inkbook-calypso-plus-e-reader-is-now-availabl

Help me avoid buyers remorse, please!

Living out side of the us, a Kindle is not recommend if you want to use your local library it will not work. Kindle and kobo are about the same, they limit you to only one book store. You can side load books on both devices, but it requires a seperate computer and a little knowledge. A android eread

Help picking

First off, don't give up so easily. You paid for something and you didn't get it. Where's the proof that it was delivered to you?? Did someone sign for it? Did the delivery driver take a pic of where they left the damn thing? Unless the delivery happened a long time ago you should get your money bac

If you could only use one device, what are you picking

Bigme B7 Pro - Android 14, 8/256 GB - 2 TB SD, Kaleido 3, 4G connectivity, USI 2 Stylus with wireless Charging, GNSS, 215g, fastest screen (43 fps). It's my go-to device for travel; I only take one with me.

Looking for a small eReader

If you get a boox go 7 or a bigme b751/b7. They are just like android tablets, you can do just about anything on them as you can a tablet, but slower with a e ink screen. You can surf the web, watch YouTube. They are meant for reading so they are not the best at other stuff

You can watch video on an e-reader

Yes, sometimes I take a break from reading and open YouTube on my BigMe B7 to look at a video about how the sky looks like on other planets, then I get back to reading. Its nice to be able to do so, but it consumes a lot of battery

What do you guys think of this?

it's a very, very big world out there now. Onyx's Boox products focus on "bringing e-ink to Android" by optimizing the app experience as much as possible and creating fast e-ink update modes with ghosting cleanup. Supernote focuses on high quality note-taking with really powerful organization capabi

Looking for Android E-Reader

Boox go 7 or bigme b7. They will both suit your needs. The boox is better for pdf and note-taking. The bigme has more 2x the memory, camera, built in gps, cellphone, more fps, better ghosting. For me they are both too small for comics and manga, but they are the same size of a kindle ppw. I went wit

Lightest Booksized Android

Not true at all in most reviews I've seen the bigme b7 is faster than the boox go 7 gen1/2, they have better ghosting, and more fps on videos, load apps faster. The boox does have a better note-taking app and works with pdf files better and have a better operating system. For most people just readin
