Failed Boox Palma 2 Screen

Unfortunately Boox has really crappy customer service and they refuse to honor their warranty. They'll always blame the customer even when it's not their fault. I've read that their screens on the Palma are so tightly screwed in that they're constantly under pressure and will eventually break becaus

Boox or Kobo?

I own a Bigme B6 Color because I like to take it anywhere and 6" works for me, I also own a white Xteink X4 and a Kindle Paperwhite SE. With Wifi and BT off, I get up to 10 days, the non Android will go 3 weeks or more But it charges pretty fast, and it's a fast e-reader itself.

Anyone use their X4 as their only eReader? How is it?

I have a few kindles, a Bigme B6 and this X4. And lately I’ve been using the X4 as daily driver. It’s just so small and compact and I take it everywhere with me. On the software side crosspoint is nothing but amazing and makes the reading experience chefs kiss. I’ll continue to take this as my only

Nobody is talking about Musnap Neo (Black and White strictly)

Bargain. The Bigme carta1300 B6 costs another 50% more. *edit: mind you... for an extra USD5x you also get Android 14, a bump upto 4G RAM and SD card expansion and for me, serviceable onboard speaker too. I'm tempted by the Neo's sunken screen though... How much does it weigh?

[MOAAN:True Color E-ink Paper Tablet with Mag Charging Cover] Update today makes it no longer in color

If you don’t care about the stylus, then I personally own the Bigme B6 and love it. It has some weird UI and crappy baked in software, but it has Google Play out of the box so all I had to do was install Niagara Launcher and regular useful apps and it’s perfect. All of the buttons can be remapped, t

Thinking about getting another E-reader..

I bought a Bigme B6 Color, 6 inch, small, fast and has a MicroSD slot Did a de-bloat and it even got faster, and it can be any e-reader you want since you have the Google Play Store, Koreader, Kindle, Pocketbook, Moon+ Reader, you name it

Best android e-reader?

My statement is in reference to the Gen 2 one. It’s not slow at all. The additional ram is very helpful. The Bigme B6 is solid for those who don’t mind the weight. I mind the weight so Go 6 Gen 2 for the win. $199 USD.

Simple and easy ereader advice please, no computer access.

I've used a BigMe Color ereader that I really love, and I also am trying out a TCL phone as a more portable ereader. Both are Android-based, so would check the list you provided. Both of mine are slightly above $200, but it looks like there are under $200 options for both (just barely for the TCL).

I need help picking an E-reader

Kobo - it has Overdrive integration but won't give you hoopla or other apps. It's also not as convenient for those with multiple library cards as you have to manually log in/out of each one. Since you specifically mentioned Hoopla, I wouldn't recommend Kobo. But then again, it largely depends on how
