It's hard to give a blanket recommendation since there's so many factors that go into determining what works best, but if you're looking mainly for Manga I'd definitely recommend an android device like the Boox or a Bigme device. IT FINALLY CAME IN!! Just replaced my 8th Gen Kindle for the Boox Go 7 BW and I'm already in love...
Actually I love my Colorsoft, I feel like it has the best colors of all my color ereaders, but I have the Bigme B6 color and I really don’t like it, the color just isn’t right and the black and white reading not great because of that. I ended up getting the B6 b&w which I like a lot better
