I'd say Beyerdynamic, specifically the DT880 Pro if you can afford them, if not the DT990 Pro are cool too. I personally prefer Neumann NDH-30 but those are in a different price range.

My DT880 black edition was second choice straight from beyerdynamic for 90. I cant fathom paying more for headphones. DAC was 25 used for an E10k

I use a DT880 Ed. almost on a daily basis, and to me, it sounds way more balanced and is more fun to listen to. I got the DT880 Ed short after I sold my T70, but haven't looked back since. As a rule, open back designs have less bass than closed backs. The closed cups reflect bass back to the ear, so they're bassier. Open backs don't, so they aren't.
