I've had a pair of DT770 Pro 250ohm cans for 10 years and expect them to last another 10. Built like a tank and sound great (need an amp for the 250ohm version). Only things I've had to replace were the earpads and the plastic pieces below the headband. Highly recommend Beyerdynamic!

For vocals go DT770, closed back means no bleed into the mic. 80 ohm version doesn't need an amp. For mixing bass heavy stuff the DT990 has better low end but the hyped highs can trick you into mixes that sound harsh elsewhere. Learned that the hard way. DT770 does both jobs well enough and keeps it

Tarkov has weird interactions with some headphones. Went from my Astro A50s which I had to keep the game at 30% volume or it would give me a headache to switching to DT 770 Pro Xs and now I have to use an amplifier plus an equalizer to hear anywhere near to what I had before.

The Pro X is designed specifically to not “need” an amp unlike earlier versions of the DT770 series. Since you are using an 11 year old motherboard a new DAC Amp would likely improve the sound quality overall but if you’re happy with it now…not sure it’s really necessary. I guess it depends on what

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO 80ohm. Best 150 euro's I've ever spend.

Evo 4 is what is called a audio interface, basically an external soundcard. It will allow you to plug speakers, monitoring headphones and 2 mics or inputs. If you go this way you don't need and usb mic, an xlr mic will be perfect and probably cheaper. About the dt 770, go for the 80Ohms version. I'm

Yes. The better studio headphones are often not very good for DJs. Because they are bigger, bulkier, and clamp all the way over your ears. You cannot go wrong with the Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro. These are probably the most popular full sized closed over ear, wired headphones for music production in th

-You would need a decent interface, let's say something alongside the audient iD 14, UAD volt 2 or 276, the SSL 2+, the focusrite scarlett 2i2 (I would advise the audient, it has very good clarity in the preamps) this is around 250-300$ (check the prices I'm from the EU) -You'd need then a good head

the m4 mini actually has a pretty decent built-in dac that can drive up to around 80 ohms comfortably. for best results without an amp, you'll want something in the 32-80 ohm range. i've been using a pair of beyerdynamic dt 770 pro 80 ohm and they sound fantastic straight from the jack. if you go lo

The iPod Video (5/5.5) can handle it well since the volume is way higher so you get to enjoy your DT 770 even outside. The iPod Classic (6/6.5/7) has a lower volume (because of all the lawsuits and European laws) which makes it less “enjoyable” on a DT770 80ohms. Inside in a quiet environment it’s g
