What are the worst products that you bought in 2025?

That stupid fucking bounce mascara from benefit. Literally back to back to back amazing mascara releases (they’re real, roller lash, badgal bang) then this dry, flaky nightmare that if I apply at 10:43 covers my under eyes in dried product by 11:00am sharp. To hell.

Rant: Worst mascara ever?

There are two that come to mind that I have. Too Faced Better than Sex - Heavy, clumpy and weighs the lashes down. Too Faced should reformulate this instead of wasting so much on the different packaging. Benefit They're Real - Dry and flaky and doesn't do much in my opinion. This was surprising to m

Products that got bumped off your holy grail list after it was reformulated?

Benefit “They’re Real” mascara used to be my holy grail for probably 10 years. Ever since they reformulated it, it smudges, dries out super fast, and flakes everywhere. So disappointing because the original formula was so good. I stopped using it well over a year ago and switched to Armani “Vertigo”

What is a product you will never forgive a company for discontinuing ?

Or it’s been reformulated because either Europe or the US have banned a key ingredient & it no longer performs anywhere close to the original. I cried when that happened to my perfect mascara of over 10 years, Benefit’s They’re Real.

Tell me about a makeup product you were influenced to buy, but turned out to be really bad

Benefit They're Real mascara. I have long lashes, so I usually just use whatever is on offer, I don't bother paying premium. But the hyper surrounding his mascara was massive, and I thought I'd treat myself. Never once have I used a mascara that made my lashes look both stubby and sparse - I thought

Which mascara to buy?

Back in the day, I loved Benefit They’re Real mascara. Last time I bought it, I got raccoon eyes, which didn’t happen before. I got tired of spending $30 on mascara and tried the Maybelline Sky High mascara and haven’t looked back since. I don’t even have to use the waterproof formula to not give me

Rant: Worst mascara ever?

Same! I bought They're Real last year when Ulta was doing a sale on Benefit and some other mascaras where if you bought one full sized mascara, you got another full sized mascara for $10. It's just so dry and does nothing. You have to layer it but if you apply more than one coat, it flakes horribly.

What are some makeup products you genuinely did not love at all?

ALL highend mascaras are terrible! There is nothing like my L’Oréal telescopic!! Every time I have tried a high end one I have been so disappointed. And I have tried them all from Lancôme to benefits bad gal bang, they’re real etc. and I have come to found out it’s because of the telescopic formular

How long does your tube of mascara last? Please refrain from answering that I should dispose of a mascara every 3 months

I used to swear by benefit they’re real, but sadly they’ve changed the formula and it’s awful now. Used to last for ages. I once bought an Essence mascara from Wilkos because I was desperate. Turned out it was really good and I repurchased it from Amazon. It was super cheap and it lasted ages if I r
