Beats Studio Pro are over the ear. I have them and wear glasses. They are comfortable and the sound is very neutral - which may appeal to you I suppose. I mainly use them to watch tv at night (connected to Apple TV) and gaming and they sound great for those use cases. For music they are fine to good

Nothing. Apple is expensive, if you can get the same product elsewhere then get it from there. Apple still honours the warranty and will fix it there. Got my air for 1200 something AUD from a sale on Amazon and beats studio pro for 220 on big w marketplace whereas Apple sells them for near 600 lol.
