I am looking for a new robotic pool cleaner and am leaning towards a corded Dolphin. Does anyone know whether they will pick up acorns? Any particular models better than others at picking them up?
I didn’t want to deal with a power cord that would be wet, or stiff and cold in the winter, so I went with a cordless Beatbot AquaSense 2. I like it, but it’s nearly useless in the Fall. The large acorns we have won’t fit through the intake slot underneath. Invariably I have to haul out the old Pola

Hot Take: Who is Beatbot NOT for?
BeatbotRightFit I have the BB AquaSense 2 Pro. It works very well. I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. No screened in porch. Get sand and pollen and tree debris. My Palm trees do occasionally pollute my pool with pieces of palm and that stringy stuff. My Loquat tree produces large leaves. The Crate Myrtle s

Right now the best pool robot would be my Aqua Sense 2 Pro. The Ultimate would be the Ultra. The 2 Pro has the longest battery life compared to the competitors . It is cordless and has a mind of it's own!! Love the various modes which can be programmed on the App. My favorite is the floor mode. No m

I've had a bunch of different robots over the years, but the best was probably a Polaris 3900. Granted, I do like my AquaSense 2, and in so many ways the BeatBot is superior, but the biggest reason why I picked the Polaris is because it was powered by my pool pump, so I just always left it in the po

I had a polaris for years before moving on to a Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro and I will say it's night an day. I have a 27k gallon gunite salt water roman pool with 3 steps on one side and then two cut out benches on the other. I've got a slide, but that doesn't add much to the cleaning aspect other than

I was rebuilding my Zodiac MX8 and replacing hoses part-by-part for about $200/year for the last 10 years. This year it was finally time to replace old 'Rover' as we called the MX8. The downside of the MX8 is of course dealing with the long hose every time you want to enjoy the pool but also it didn

Win a Free Robot for Your Best Pool Tip
Not an entry but I would be very interested in joining the Beatbot Club. We've had our AquaSense 2 for about a month now. Hands down the best thing we have ever bought for our pool. It has even discovered a problem with our sand filter by picking up some sand that our jets are putting out. Typically

I love my Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra! I’m a huge Seattle Mariner fan living in Texas and named it Poolio Rodriguez after my favorite Mariner. Poolio glides through the water effortlessly and the cleaning proof is in the filter after each use! Poolio Rodriguez is a home run in my book!

I love the Beatbot AquaSense 2 Ultra. I have a 55,000 pool and am amazed every day by how much dirt and debris my bit picks up. I just wish I had two!

I've been a pool owner for over 35 years and have used a handful of different automatic pool cleaners, and although I've only had my Beatbot AquaSense 2 Pro for a couple months it is clear that it stands head and shoulders above the rest. The best thing about this is the amount of time saved. No hos
