I would recommend the barefoot footprint 03, probably the best speaker you can get at that price range,but you need a wel treated room to make them work.

Footprint 02s are barefoots budget version, of a budget version, of a speaker they designed to be good. They aren’t MMs, nor 01s, but an even MORE accessible model bc they want to get you in the door. They are a marketing tool, not a speaker they designed to be a great mixing tool. Save for whatever

You could stay with Adam and go for A8H, or A77H if you have enough space. Alternatively Dynaudio LYD48 or Barefoot Footprint03. I’m surprised you consider the Barefoot Footprint03 a substantial upgrade to the Dynaudio LYD48. Sure, the build quality is better, but they are also smaller and don’t play as low.

I’ve been working on the Barefoot footprint03’s for a couple months and I’m surprised how low they go for the size. I have a sub but it’s hard to tell whether or not I have it on because they extend so low
