[USA - TJ Maxx] Breville Bambino Plus for 80$

Well you saved a ton of money so don’t skimp on a good grinder. It all depends how deep in the rabbit hole you want to go. I have this same machine with Baratza Encore ESP and am happy with it. I use the grinder for everything from espresso to pour over. If you can afford a $5-600 grinder, do you. T

Just realized I spent $1,089 at Starbucks 👀💀

Honestly even a solid drip brew machine, Baratza Encore Grinder and some good beans goes a long way too. Less fancy drinks but still.

Coffee Grinder

Baratza Encore should work nicely there. It was my daily driver for an aeropress, various pour overs, and pretty much anything short of a true espresso maker.

Any electric grinder below 15O USD other than Baratza Encore? Not for espresso, only AeroPress. No, I am not looking for hand grinder.

Honestly? Baratza encore is easily your best choice that’s not a hand grinder

Setup Recommendations [$500]

Here’s my entry level beginner friendly setup: - Bambino Plus- Baratza Encore ESP (grinds perfectly for espresso, drip, chemex, etc…)-Normcore Tools (WDT, Dosing Funnel, Tamper, bottomless portafilter, 18g basket)- Timemore mini scale (fits nicely in the bambino) This is more than enough (in my opin

My mom wants an espresso machine for her birthday, what’s a good beginner setup for complete newbies? [$300]

I would recommend the v Breville Bambino as well, I have this machine for the past two years it's great. I would absolutely not agree with the smart grinder. The Breville Bambino cannot extract light beans... If this matters to your mom get a machine that works with that. The Bambino excels in mediu

Deciding on New Grinder vs New machine [$250]

I don't have this grinder, but if you can bump up your price to $300 the Baratza Encore Esp Pro grinder works really well for espresso, Aeropress, ORB, pourover, etc. I use mine for all of these brewers to great effect!

Dicas para iniciado

Nessa de robustez pode ser que um Baratza encore usado sirva como uma luva! Pra espresso ele não serve, mas pra coados ele serve que é uma maravilha e é um tanque de guerra. Usado tu deve achar custando lá pra 800-900 reais

Gaggia Classic E24 v Lelit Anna [$1500 AUD setup]

I've got the Bambino so can't comment on the espresso machine (although I think you'd be fine with the Bambino or B Plus), but I can comment on the grinder. Was looking at the same options: DF54, Varia etc. I'm in NZ so after-market support on these brands is limited to none. Having come from an old

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread

I use a Baratza encore at levels ~3-4 for espresso and ~10-16 for pour over and get results I enjoy. But every time I go through a bag of oily beans (usually a gifted bag or my partner’s purchase), afterward it seems horribly miscalibrated (too coarse). Then I take it apart, clean it, ensure it’s on
