Not quite EU, but I love love love my Swiss Bamix immersion blender.

Get a Bamix if you really want top quality. It doesn’t have separate top and bottom pieces. Total overkill for home though. I’ve always been happy with Braun immersion blenders even though they have plastic couplers

Another vote for Bamix, there's plenty of other options that have been recommended in this sub before though if you want a lower price

Huge variation in performance based on how the guard around the blades interacts with the material and vessel base/sides. They'll all arrive at creamy smooth consistency given enough time, but some like the pricy Bamix are better suited for soups, others seem optimized for smoothies in narrow vessel

My Bamix immersion blender is a workhorse and is one of the best kitchen purchases I've ever made. I love that thing.

A good immersion blender is invaluable- by far my favourite small kitchen appliance. My current one is by Braun and comes with a few attachments (blender, whisk and a mini food processor with two types of blade) and a jug. The blender and whisk attachments are the most important ones. Another brand
