Whats something you brought that has cost "nothing" based on how much you use it.

Mine is my grandmothers kenwood chef from the very early 80s (purchased to make my parents wedding cake), aside from a preventative service when we moved, it’s still going strong with regular use. We also have her bamix from the same era, serviced at the same time. We use it constantly, it’s just so

Food processor, stick blender, blender or similar made in Europe?

My Bamix stick blender is one of my most beloved kitchen tools, I’ve had it for well over 10 years now. I did recently have to get the engine repaired (€75, way cheaper than a new one), and ones bought after 2020 have a lifelong guarantee on the engine. (I promise I’m not a shill, I just really real

Stick blender

Seconding the Bamix! Mine isnt as old (5 years now), but I love that you can get all the separate parts. If the knife dulls, you just get a new knife, instead of an entire new stick blender. I blew the motor of my Braun one on some nuts, the Bamix can handle everything I’ve thrown at it so far!

What is something old you own that still works perfectly?

Bamix's are such a good brand. Those stick blenders from the old days are also super powered I find. They've got a bit of weight to them and they just power through the job- doesn't feel like it's about to crap out on you after give minutes(like so.e of the one you can buy today).

Which food processor to choose ?

power is irrelevant, effectively. more power usually just means more torque; handy if you want to grind iron pellets into filings. the stick blender Bamix has “low power” and K can assure you that works exceptionally well. seems overkill just to make praline. what other cooking do you do? how will a
