The Bambulab A1 we have at work has easily paid for itself and then some. We use it to print prototypes and mock ups as well as tools we need for specific tasks. It’s much faster than getting it done with a CNC only to discover you made a mistake in the first prototype and need to adjust things. Onc

Wife wants me to throw out the K1max and buy a Bambu. I'm out of ideas, please help me
Honestly, with how much you've tried already... Ditch that printer. I'm not saying it's a bad machine in general, But honestly i think your unit is just kind of fucked at this point.Could you fix it? Probably. Is it going to be worth the extra cost in replacements and the countless hours tinkering?

Valve releases Steam Controller CAD files under Creative Commons license
Look into the bambu labs a1 It's the easiest printer to setup imo and does just as well in quality as pretty much any printer out there. As you go up in price with other printers you mainly just get qol features and niche things like dual nozzles. Build size is also great for the price It's like $25

I want to upgrade my P1S because I want auto flow/calibration. Am I crazy for that?
Not crazy. you just haven’t decided if your hobby is 3d printing or 3d printers. If it’s printing, upgrade. If it’s printers, well… you have that. My first printer is an A1 Combo, and I don’t want to miss any of its features.

Quit my stable ₹9 LPA job… now stuck between freelancing, 3D printing, and “shaadi kab hogi” pressure — need real advice
I wouldn't go deeper into 3d printing as a businessm there's tons of people who are willing to print pla at 1-3₹ per gram and thats nearly cost price for filament. 3d printing as a business only works once you're able to tailor the thing you print for a niche market. There's a guy on Instagram who h

Type of Printer to Buy?
I believe tha BambuLab A1 or the A1 mini is one the most reliable and better cost / benefit at the moment. They are “cheap” and very capable or printing high quality minis. (Just browse around on this sub). There is a ton of support and good sources for a good reason.

Why is FDM Mini printing so hard?
Bought an A1 recently in June and I've had more successes than failures, however every time the print fails I always try to learn from it in order to avoid it. You might be surprised how much a small setting can change things and improve your process. Given that I am also new in the 3D printing fiel

Gridfinity base result with 0.8 nozzle
0,4 mm = 0,126 mm²0,8 mm = 0,503 mm²ludicrous speed = 166 % So if you want to print at that speed, you need to increase the volumetric flow by a factor 6,6x Assuming good old regular PLA on the A1 has 21 mm³/s flow rate with the standard hotend - to make this happen, you would need 138,6 mm³/s to fu

H2S vs P2S — Is H2S worth it for print quality, if I don’t need the size?
Hey, welcome to the hobby 😄 After several thousand print hours across different Bambu Lab printers, here’s my honest take: Print quality is identical across all of them. You’re not going to see smoother surfaces or better detail between models — it’s the same core tech. The only real difference (esp
