What I think is happening is the aux fan is causing the filament to cool too quick on that side of the plate, like you say, try with the aux fan off, but the solution is the deflector imo. Full Disclosure: I really enjoyed the P2S and had zero issues with print quality or the printer. I wasn't able to realize the supposed "speed" advantage without losing quality. Any actions to increase speed while maintaining quality are available to most if not all printers. So as far as I was able
