oh yay, I love posts like this. Giddy up: get a good keyboard. I never knew a keyboard obsession could be real lol. I have the Epomaker Aula F99 pro keyboard. I also got new switches (linear, low pitch to avoid that clacky sound when typing but still has that creamy sound) and new keycaps - check ou

Mechanical keyboard recs?
Going to throw a non Keychron recommendation with either the AULA F99 Pro or AULA F108 Pro into the hat which should both be on Amazon. Recent convert when I was tasked to find a new keyboard for the significant other that wouldn't break the bank. Out of the box, everything was good to go... smooth

New Keebs Recs

I tried out the K2 and its got such a heavy switch even though you can change the actuation point within the board, its still heavier than it says it is for the actuation force. I play a lot of FPS games and I tried it gaming and my hands fatigued out w

Aula F99 Pro finally arrived
I bought AULA F99 Pro and Akko penguin silent switch with it's built-in keycap and it's really quiet. As I bought 2nd-hand keyboard, the seller did not tell me which default switch is. I found that the default switch Akko Light Feather is really quiet. Thank you for answering my question 😊

Get yourself an Aula F99 Pro and silent switches. Much less than $200 and will feel just as good as the best of the best.

Epomaker x Aula F99 Pro is amazing. With silent or deep thocky switches you can use it in the office for sure.

I'm trying out budget mechanical keyboards but keep getting finger fatigue, even on popular models like the Aula F99 Pro. I type fast, and it feels like each key requires too much effort. Would shorter keys or lighter switches help? I'm open to prebuilt or DIY options, just looking for something com

Agreed. Everyone is looking for something different, and everyone just posts anyway ignoring pinned threads. Plus redditors are happy to give their opinions as opposed to mods constantly dealing with requests/demands to add this, it remove this because it infringes on QMK/Via's open source license e
