Discussion: The entry-level mechanical keyboard market is confusing
RGB and shinethrough: Shinethrough caps are far worse in quality compared to non-shinethrough ones North-facing LEDs on PCB is required for the lights to be properly bright if you have actual shinethrough legends on your caps in the normal position, but to this day north-facing LEDs still have the o

What's happening?
It sounds like you are looking for a membrane keyboard rather than a mechanical one. Mechanical keyboards can be modded and customized the way you saw in the videos, whereas membrane keyboards already have everything pre-installed and cannot be customized. Those are your average office keyboard like

First time Mechanical keyboard user
Got the version with Reaper Switches and damn it is soooo good to type on, I initially got the Ajazz AK820 pro 75% with Gift Switch but I ditched it after getting the Aula F75. I love mechanical keyboards but getting high end ones in Kenya is very hard.

Witch one ?
I just bought the Epomaker X Aula F75 Max for $66 from amazon and I was actually blown away at how solid it is. Lovely typing experience with plenty of features. Hotswappable with south facing LED’s. Switches that came with it feel great though. Had a few friends over and my wife all type on it and

Refunded the AULA F75 and bought the YUNZII AL71...
I like my Aula F75, but I do wish I had gotten a different layout; the lack of PrtSc and Home irks me. Hell, I miss the numpad too... I still think this is a massive upgrade over all the membrane keebs of the past. YUNZII's layout is also a no-no for me, I need my F row. I really like the way Dark P

Recommend me an alternative to Nuphy Air 75 v3
I considered that Iqunix but it's too wide. I need a volume knob, that's a dealbreaker. So far so good with the Nuphy but will keep an eye out for any reception issues. I did get an Aula F75 Max for the office, with a number pad, and those switches are the best for typing. The perfect creaminess and

Hall Effect vs Mechanical Keyboard — My Honest Typing Experience
I just switched to HE keyboards the other month and love them. I do game, but I also type a ton. And I do love typing on these. I do have a couple of mechanicals - the Nuphy Air75 V3 plus at home, and an Aula F75 max at the office. For HE I have the Monsgeek M1 V5 HE, the Lemokey P1 HE, and the Nuph
