Sennheiser HD 25 replacement ?

I really recommend Audio Technica ATH-R50x. Just got one of these and they do sound amazing!

HD 480 Pro

Oh yes, I am newer to the hobby but I have compared back and forth my couple of inexpensive open backs with the momentum 4, a couple of earbuds and IEMS I understand we shouldn’t compare passive to active headphones, but when talking specifically about what sounds better, that shouldn’t matter. For

Steelseries arctis pro+gamdac

Proper headphone such as Audio Technica ATH-R50X or Sennheiser HD560s is miles better. But cod has shitty audio design, good headphones can't fix that

Headphone players: got any headphone recommendations?

I use ATH-R50X open back headphones by Audio Technica and they are really nice, they cost about $150 and sound pretty amazing. They are 50 ohms and sound great on my interface SSL 2+ mkii. sweetwater.com/store/detail/ATHR50x--audio-technica-ath-r50x-open-back-reference-headphones

How to proceed despite having bad Monitors?

Pretty interesting! Just bookmarked them. Rn too pricey and I have Audio Technica ATH-R50x which seem clear, deep and precise - at least in comparison to my speakers and Sennheiser DJ Headphones (which sound super misleading in comparison).

Any people here who use open back headphones? Looking to get my first pair and wondering what’s suitable for prog

Over the last 15 or more years I owned quite a few open back headphones. I owned the HD650, AKG K-612, Audio Technica ATH-R70x, Philips 9500. Right now I use the Audio Technica ATH-R70xa as well as the ATH-R50x. I also have the vintage AKG K-1000 and current Hifiman HE400SE. I use them all, some mor

Looking for a gaming headset, but I am honestly a bit lost on this one. Budget: 100-300 dollars/Euro.

If you already have a seperate microphone, why not look into a proper audiophile headphone instead? They offer much better sound quality. Look for sennheiser hd560s, hd505, hd600, hd6xx or audio technica ath-r50x, r70xa or fiio FT1 pro, FT3

HyperX Cloud II is overrated.

Beyerdynamic Tygr 300R, Audio Technica ATH-R50X, Sennheiser HD560S, AKG K7xx, Philips Fidelio X2HR are all better than any headset at any price. Hell, even cheap Superluxes outperform most gaming headsets

Don't buy gaming headset. Audio Technica ATH-R50X for open backs or DT770 Pro for closed backs.
