Recommendation on new router.
In an apartment situation, you likely only need one router. However, and because of sale price, my suggestion would be to consider the ASUS ZenWiFi ET9. It comes in a 2-pack, features 2.5GB WAN ports, 802.11AXE (WiFi 6E) and the new un-congested 6Ghz Band. You’ll want 6Ghz band while living in an ap

New mesh or add-on to existing system
Your already invested in asus aimesh, buy another asus and make it your primary. But…..you said you want to upgrade; using the ax as nodes will still limit you to wifi6 if you connect to them. Is it speed, future proofing, or trying to solve a dead zone that you are after? The asus rt-be58u is an en

Router/Booster Questions
The Asus BT6 I bought at amazon canada for about Cd $250. I completed the mesh with two ET9s also purchased from the same online store for about $250. The BT6 and both ET9s were purchased last year on blackfriday soecials... My opinion is that a complete BT6 mesh would work better than the hybrid sy

👋Welcome to r/ZenWiFi - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey there. I have an Asus ZenWiFi ET9 mesh network. My house is a fairly large sidesplit very spaced out. About 50 yrs old. Lots of walls and and things that were somewhat of a challenge. One ET9 is the router and 3 moreI have connected by wired backhaul on different levels of the house. I ran cat 8

Cheap Router/mesh system for Apartment
u/crispysmoove I agree with u/TheImmortal_TK that ASUS would be a solid pick for you. BTW I have the slightly older ASUS XT8 mesh system and it works well in wireless backhaul, as it's tri-band WiFi 6 (2.4/5/5ghz bands). One of the 5ghz bands is dedicated to mesh traffic and the other 5ghz is just f

Please confirm some things before I buy mesh wifi
Avoid all in one units, buy a stand alone cable modem to connect to optimum and then a separate mesh like the deco. Separate mesh allows you the flexibility later to move away from cable without needing to change your mesh network. Deco will create a single network but I can’t tell if it will use a

Mesh setup for a 3 level home - recommendations
I have the WiFi 6 version (older brother) of the ET9, called the ASUS XT8. It works great in wireless backhaul. Only need to reboot the mesh node once in a while (not perfect but very good considering it's wireless). To make it bulletproof I had to use wired backhaul via ethernet. I don't have ether

ASUS ZenWiFi AXE7800
It's difficult to know until you test it in your own environment/residence. For example I have the ASUS ZenWiFi XT8 WiFi 6 mesh system and it works very well for me (wired ethernet backhaul setup). But if you read reviews on Amazon, they aren't great. Not sure if the negative reviews are because peo

Suggest Access Point with LANs on CAT6 backhaul
ASUS ZenWiFi ET9 (2 Pack) Mesh Routers are on sale for $99 on the ASUS website. The lowest price Amazon has offered is $200 and they have good reviews.

Heads up- Asus zenwifi et9 on deep discount
Thanks for the post! Great deal for the right scenario. If someone could use wired backhaul (ethernet) for connecting mesh nodes, I think this system would work well. Or if someone wanted to add WiFi 6E wired Access Points to an existing internal network, this is a fantastic option at only $99 for b
