Remote play for steam super slow since I put mesh

I get a max of 750 Mbps down with my Asus ET8 mesh with 3 nodes connected wirelessly to the main router. It's pretty consistent. Each node connects to the main router. There's no hopping.

Is there a way to connect modem here and router somewhere else with coax

Just get a cable modem and then buy a separate wireless router with a 2nd node. I do this currently until I run Ethernet to a room that I want a hardline connection in. I get about 750 Mbps down but would get a full 1Gbps down with hardline. Its close enough. I use Asus ET8 wireless mesh nodes.
