Wifi 6 router recommendation?
I bought an Asus RT-BE92U recently to replace (sort of) a pair of Asus ZenWiFi XT8 in an AiMesh. It's WiFi 7, 4 x 2.5Gbps LAN ports and 1 x 10Gbps WAN, Tri-band WiFi (very important for AiMesh imho) It's now my router and master node for my AiMesh, with the old XT8s now being (actually quite good) n

Best WiFi Mesh UK
I use Asus ZenWifi XT8 mesh system (3 nodes) - detached house - all working flawlessly (cat 6 for ATV/Macs/gaming and wifi 6 for iPhones/security cameras etc.). Think there is a newer version of this one now though so have a check. Totally happy with performance and speed. EDIT - all nodes are CAT6

New to home networking
I've got Asus AiMesh (it was called that before the recent AI boom) and it works very well. I have an RT-BE92U as my main router and then two ZenWifi XT8's and an RP-AX56. I had the ZenWifi's before buying the BE92U in AiMesh and upgraded to the BE92U and kept the old routers to expand my coverage.

In the market for router
I found it a humorous you mentioned you want WiFi 6 for "future proofing." FYI WiFi 6E and WiFi 7 have already been released, so WiFi 6 is already "in the past". BTW, it's not really possible to future proof, as the future keeps changing... 😇 Between the 3 routers you listed, you can choose the one

Asus Zenwifi BT8 vs BT10
I would NOT buy the BT10. I think $999 for mesh is way too costly. I'm a bit of a frugal person, so even $549 seems like a lot for three BT8 units. Interesting that Best Buy doesn't call it BT8, but if you compare the specs to ASUS's website for the BT8, it looks like it's the BT8 at Best Buy for $5

New forced contract on ASUS router - give us all your personal information
I am a fan of ASUS’s WiFi 6 products. My ASUS XT8 mesh system has been great (had it for over 5 years). However, ASUS’s WiFi 7 products are hit-or-miss. Not sure what the issue is, but they seem to have firmware issues with the new stuff (WiFi 7). Some people have issues, other people think it’s roc

How good is the GigaSpire router offered by GloFiber?
When I got Glofiber they had to run wires to and through my house so that is when they hooked up my original router. I switched to my new router a few years ago and did it all myself and haven’t had any issues. Their ONT fiber box is easy enough to run an Ethernet wire from. Take a look at reviews.

WiFi help needed/returning decos
The ASUS XT8 mesh system has worked well for me. It's only WiFi 6 (still has lots of life left in it; WiFi 7 is still fairly new, not well established yet in my opinion) and I think WiFi 6 is a good value right now. It's on this list as best WiFi 6 mesh: https://www.pcmag.com/picks/the-best-wi-fi-me

Need Help Looking for a Good Quality AIO
I like ASUS (I have their XT8 mesh system) because you get all the security features included. By contrast, Eero, tplink, Netgear make you pay extra $$ each month for additional security, which is pretty disappointing. You're very lucky to have a coverage area of 950 square feet, as many affordable

Wireless backhaul acceptable?
I have the ASUS XT8 Mesh system. It's only WiFi 6 but has excellent range & has worked very well via wireless backhaul. It has a secondary 5ghz band just for Mesh communication. Even though it works very well, sometimes the Mesh node needed to be rebooted as it would lose connection to the Mesh rout
