Tried to install linux but anciently deleted everything? What now?
you could make a arm64 windows installer USB on another system, and try to reinstall windows. then try again Personally I would not buy a windows Arm laptop and expect it to work well as a Linux system. at least not without a lot of research first to verify it's doable. It might be that device can't

Rookie question Is there any problem getting a snapdragon processor for laptop for basic usage?
You're on r/snapdragon, thus there's always some bias towards Snapdragon processors. But to answer your question, yes you'll be fine, as pretty much all these Microsoft apps got their ARM versions to natively run on Snapdragon and perform well. However, I would be cautious going Snapdragon, as most

Move Over, M5: Qualcomm's Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme Chip Crushes Apple in Our Benchmark Testing
The bandwidth is actually greater than the MacBook Air with M5 on the X2EE, but slower than an M5 Pro and way slower than an M5 Max. Apple's MacBook Air at the base config level is a really great value though, no doubt about that. It seems like ASUS could've competed with it had the RAM pricing situ

Bye bye Qualcomm
I don't get it. First of all, it's known that Linux does not run well on ARM so why try to force the matter? 99% of of Snapdragon consumers are buying it to run Windows, the one guy that I read on Reddit that tried to install Linux on his Asus Zenbook A14 and ended up bricking it. Secondly, the Snap

Windows on ARM (Snapdragon X Plus) choppy 10-bit HDR playback, any fixes?
Audio and video out of sync. Then video lags, then it's wild wild west. For VLC same, but after a second (two max probably, video just goes gray). I'm using the asus zenbook a14 if anyone is wondering. I tested VLC, photos, Films & TV, Media Player, Screenbox.

Should I go for Macbook Air M1 - 8 GB ram. Or any other Windows laptop at similar price range? 😕
well not that easy with docker/virtualuzation Docker Desktop on ASUS Zenbook A14 The ASUS Zenbook A14, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X chipset, is expected to support Docker Desktop. However, users have reported issues with the screen flickering when enabling VT (Virtualization Technology) on c

Why doesn't Apple have any normal competitors in the laptop space?
'Performance Per Watt' is Apple's marketing claim. It does that because it's all it's got. In reality, an Apple ultraportable with a large battery can hit about 30 hours of battery thanks to the harmony of software and hardware. I'm not sure where you got x86 is dying from. Intel and AMD would disag

Macbook vs lap windows.
