Honestly, the 2-in-1 market is rough right now for finding something without some compromise. Regarding the Flex 5 I mean the throttling issues are less severe than the i5 models, but still present under sustained load. The cooling just isn't designed for heavy lifting, it sucks. Have you looked at

So everyone is complaining about virtually EVERY laptop manufacturer.....
I see so much negative stuff about Asus that I'm still waiting for my 4-year-old Zenbook Flip S to die, and it has yet to do so. (Although the battery's no longer brilliant and I'm about to replace it. That's a wear and tear issue so not a complaint.) I would say that you do get what you pay for. Li

Any decent & recent 2-in-1 10-12" laptops?
Asus Zenbook Flip 13, I love it. (13 inches) It gets hot tho bc it has an ultraslim design.
