10G in and out of router
The best price per dollar that i can currently find is the Asus BE96U. its the cheapest router that has 2x 10GbE ports on it. One for WAN one for LAN. then you need to get a 10GbE switch but id rather do this than get sucked into Ubiqity. I know its a great product but for my needs its so ungodly ex

Your own equipment for FTTH?
Asus RT-BE96U for me, with a pair of cheap 2.5 Gbps Ethernet switches. For now. Means I can get the full overprovisioned rate (1070 Mbps in a speedtest on my 1Gbps/1Gbps grandfathered connection) instead of 940 Mbps with a regular gigabit network.

Anyone have success getting upgraded to a Gigahub 2.0 without a fee? I have a 5 Gbps network but the high speed port for my current modem (Gigahub 1.0 / HH 4000) has a known issue and will only connect at 2.5 Gbps or 10 Gbps.

I was doing 3 Gbps to my desktop and other 10g attached devices just fine with my BE96U hanging off my old HH4000, they made me switch to a Gigahub 2.0 for some reason and now nothing will do more than 1 Gbps, despite the connection between the Asus and the GH2.0 being 10 gig, and speed
