I have the RT-BE92U and have been really happy with it, besides some issues with early firmware. After the firmware issues were resolved it has been rock solid. Edit to add a few more details. If you can centrally locate the router it may be able provide decent coverage for the entire home. I have a

If you are happy with your single all-in-one, there's no need to go with a mesh system. There's nothing "better" about it, it's usefulness is extending wifi coverage when you can't or won't wire an access point. Here are some suggestions within your budget. ASUS RT-BE86U (Wi-Fi 7): The top "all-roun

I'll most likely be downvoted, since Ubiquiti ,looks to be big here, but of these I'd go with the RT-BE96U tri-band. We have one of these and it works really well. Great wireless speed and coverage, and quite stable. Highly recommended. The RT-BE88U gets good reviews, but only two bands, which makes

I've got Asus AiMesh (it was called that before the recent AI boom) and it works very well. I have an RT-BE92U as my main router and then two ZenWifi XT8's and an RP-AX56. I had the ZenWifi's before buying the BE92U in AiMesh and upgraded to the BE92U and kept the old routers to expand my coverage.

I have an ASUS RT-BE92U and it's awesome. Setting up pppoe/VLAN was a breeze. Signal is strong through the entire house.

I figured it out guys! So I was checking my other phone which is an HONOR X9d and noticed that the signal strength is 2 out of 5 bars even though I was sitting right infront of the router. I then connected my laptop to WiFi instead of Ethernet as I had always had it connected and also the signal str

I have the ASUS RT-BE92U. It has been solid since I bought it. Please note that 6ghz frequency drops significantly once you leave the room the router is in. May need APs if you want 6ghz throughout apartment or home. My phone and laptop get >1,000 mpbs down on wireless using it. I have gig down fro

I use an ASUS RT-BE92U and I find that it has a better reach than the Bell HomeHub. Very easy to configure for Ebox and it's a solid performer. It has absolutely no troubles dealing with ~20-25 devices and multiple simultaneous users (including a gamer) causes zero slowdowns.

Exactly what you said. I needed to replace my mom's ol' faithful Apple AirPort Extreme 6gen routers when the fan started sounding like a jet crashing; so I went with another stable ASUS RT-BE86U Wifi7 dual-band units. The BE92U units have tons of bad reviews due to firmware - which most likely have

Not a long term review, but I replaced a TP BE550 with the RT-BE92U two weeks ago. I installed Merlin right away because I had a good experience with it on AX86U. I had issues with the WAN port auto-negotiated the port speed every hour which led to frequent drops (Telus Fiber ONT 10G port > BE92U 2.
