i've used that exact blade 17 config. the 3080 ti mobile still holds up well at 1440p - think 100+ fps in most games with high settings. the 12th gen intel is showing age a bit but not terrible. for $1350 it's a decent deal but check battery health first. if you want new with warranty, the ASUS ROG

I got a vector 16hx paying 1000$ difference and had the same issue but the overheating was worse, so finally I got a rog strix g16 and I haven’t got any issues yet
