Is Ubiquiti UniFi Dream 7 a solid router/AP to upgrade from Apple AirPort Extreme?
OK, here's a budget-pick upgrade (ASUS): ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000. $266 at Amazon (USA). Tri-Band (2.4ghz/5ghz/6ghz). You didn't specify a requirement for the WAN port, but mentioned 1gbps internet speed. So with this router you could configure a 1gbps LAN port as a WAN, and use the single 2.5gbps po

Extremely shady practices from Fidium
If your using their router the wifi6(e) one you will never get above 1 gb even wired. The 2gb is to their unit on the red 2.5gb port. Verizon tech accidentally left a brand new router in a box at my house after setting up my fios
I was wondering about this They offered me a choice of 2 different sets One was 6e and the other was 6 I think. I think the 6e set has to be physically connected with an Ethernet cable, where as the 6 could be connected wirelessly So I got the 6 to extend the coverage wirelessly Right now I am using

Would the ASUS GT-AX11000 Pro be a good replacement for my ASUS RT-AC66U?
No problem, glad you found the details helpful. If you want to have the 6ghz band for WiFi 6E (and you are interested in ASUS routers) then ASUS makes a a WiFi 6E router that's a good deal right now on Amazon for $199.99 (ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 - 2.4ghz/5ghz/6ghz bands). The port selection is
