Anti stick drift
Get him the Flydigi - Vader 5s (new official licensed controller), it cost the same as a standard Xbox Series Controller $60-70. With features the more premium Xbox Series Elite 2 which would cost twice the amount. Since you are looking for a gamepad that has modules/sensor. That would develop less

Controller
Don’t do it to yourself. DSEdge is an absolute overpriced garbage (standard dual sense is not any better, imo). If you want to pick yourself some good controller, look for something made with Xbox in mind (this will also be much easier from button mapping perspective). Xbox option palette is much wi

PSA for those looking at the ROG Raikiri 2 Xbox controller. There is no way to change settings or swap mapping profiles without connecting it to a PC
Hi I also have the Asus Raikiri 2 controller this is my opinion I sent Asus a message about the software issues I believe if everyone who brought the controller and complained about the software Asus would fix it. You have to remember this is a new controller it is going to have bug fixes but Asus w

ROG Raikiri II controller
Missed opportunity for ASUS… I can understand not having the Xbox wireless built in, but I’m a little shocked they didn’t put in built-in 2.4ghz that would at least support their own controller/ecosystem (Raikiri).

How Fixable are Custom Ordered SCUF Envision Pros?!?
In regards to the sticks and stick drift, I wouldn't worry to much about it unless you are buying a controller with ALPS potentiometers (which no one is really using right now except for Nintendo). Most controllers nowadays come standard with anti-drift sticks. You will see wording like TMR or HE -

Is the Elite Series 2 Really that Bad?
I have had two. I loved them for the time I had them. First one the bumpers went bad. Replaced them. Happened again. Bought a core version. Sticks started having issues within 6 months. I recently purchased the ASUS - ROG Raikiri II Wireless for myself as a Christmas present. The sticks feel so much

Whats the best wireless xbox controller (3rd party or not)
I've had the Asus ROG Raikiri ii for a couple of months now and I'm loving it. Closest I've found to an Elite 2 but with TMR sticks/triggers and clicky buttons.

Controller gift part 2
That one looks good indeed. I'm holding off for a bit until the Asus Raikiri 2 is more widely available cause that one looks promising as well :)

G7 Pro terrible quality control
Being honest with you my main controller is an elite series 2 with aknes TMR sticks, for the ones with license, for me the #1 is nacon revolution x unlimited, #2 Asus ROG raikiri 2 (I prefer 4 back paddles instead 2 and 2 extra bumpers like the g7 pro) #3 g7 pro any edition, these are faster than #1
