I wrote about the hazing here https://old.reddit.com/r/HiDPI_monitors/comments/1oapqxh/psa_the_matte_coating_on_the_asus_pa32qcv_is_very/ If you don’t have to deal with glare, it is pretty bad. Light small detail on dark background (text in dark mode) is bad. With brighter backgrounds it is not too noticeable

I wrote about this monitor a few months ago - https://old.reddit.com/r/HiDPI_monitors/comments/1oapqxh/psa_the_matte_coating_on_the_asus_pa32qcv_is_very/ There are a few comparisons of VSCode between the Asus, a 4k light matte 27" and 1440p very glossy 27". So unless you're sitting with your face like 6 inches from the screen, it's biologically not possible for the image to look fu

There's the ASUS ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV and the LG UltraFine evo 32U990AS, but neither of them are really viable alternatives because they only offer a poor matte display, and anyone (like me) who wants full high-gloss quality when sitting in front of a monitor every day will not consider a matte
