ASUS ProArt Display 27” 5K HDR Professional Monitor (PA27JCV) - it's less expensive and very color accurate and beautiful. It also has a matte texture that keeps fonts crisp. Highly recommend. I just got a new m4 Mac mini also and this was what I ended up with and I couldn't be happier.

The XDR display is 120Hz. There’s a reason I said 'no matter how you use the monitor.' While it’s easy to find a monitor with factory-calibrated sRGB or Display P3 modes, those are usually calibrated for one specific brightness level only, so you generally don't want to use the sRGB mode within wide

If you’re not in a rush, you might as well wait at least 5 to 6 months. Current 5K displays (that I know of): ASUS ProArt PA27JCV (IPS: 5K 60Hz, $598.54) strong matte coating (similar to Apple’s nano-texture) which to my eyes diminishes the sharpness of text. clean, minimal design (it has character

Check out the Asus ProArt PA27JCV, a 5K HDR panel with a pixel density of 218 ppi, HDMI 2.1 and USB-C, and excellent color calibration. For €700. To say that text is sharp on a 4K screen would be a lie; this resolution isn't native on Macs, unlike 5K.

I had the smaller brother of the ProArt, the PA27JCV. I compared the coating with Apple’s nano-texture, and though the technology is different, in practice they were very similar. The color profiles using the onboard controls or the DisplayWidget software is very convenient. Blacks were very deep. I

Yeah that one is great. I have the gamer variant, the ASUS ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG (Strix 5K). Currently at €749, it is about the same price as when the PA27JCV (ProArt 5K) launched last year. The Strix 5K has up to 180Hz in 5K (currently macOS maxes out at 165 Hz, though). Gamut is a bit lower, but mo

The released ASUS ROG Strix XG27CJG IPS monitor can do 5K 180Hz (165 Hz on macOS) for $750. It’s not as color accurate as the ProArt PA27JCV (5K 60Hz), but definitely more than usable as a workstation monitor (the DCI-P3 color space was measured at near 93%, according to Tom’s Hardware). I replaced

Not anymore, Asus PA27JCV has USB-C 96W Power Delivery, has 5K display, color calibrated from factory and costs under 800$, I bought one on sale for 599$.

5k is fantastic with my Mac, but to be honest I don't notice the difference with 4k for anything but the UI elements. I have the Asus PA27JCV. Great colour, decent matte finish. Backlight bleed is acceptable. Connectivity options are lacking. I use Windows at work. Have a 32" 4k Samsung. It's fine.

I owned the PA27JCV. It’s an excellent display. The display has a LuxPixel matte coating which in practice is very similar to Apple’s nano-texture technology. Very effective against reflections. It really does make everything look like it’s printed. But I couldn’t get used to the grain of the LuxPix
