you bought an OLED for productivity?? what the heck did the employees tell you because its an awful idea not only due to the text but also cuz its gonna burn in easier on productivity if you want the text quality of IPS and the good blacks and HDR Mini LED is an alternative if you want my recommenda

A perfect HDR monitor has both incredible brightness, and incredible contrast. OLED monitors have incredible contrast, but they have terrible brightness. Mini LED monitors have incredible brightness, but they fall in contrast. Your goal is to find a monitor that does both to the highest level possib

Forsight. I'm curious for foreshadowing reasons. This monitor has 10 backlight zones. If HDR with 10 zones is working in tandem with Pulsar+G-Sync, that means it's a future indicator that this technology will arrive on a future 1000+ zone true HDR monitor with Pulsar. They can scale from 10 zones to

The above is a dng raw capture file, is a jxr HDR image, the captured data can compare the image accuracy between an Oled and an FALD monitor in HDR. The right one is the original file, in the middle the FALD and left the Oled, (Thanks to Kramnelis from Hardforum). Everyone can compare the image acc

Same spec, but I don't believe they are the same display. Remember how many 1152 zone Mini LED monitors came out with terrible blooming and only 700 nits in a 1% window? But the apple displays and the Asus PG32UQX with G-Sync ultimate had blacks similar to OLED, and 1700 nits at 1%. Similar specs do

I’m using the PG32UQX in 4k DLAA maxed out settings. My HDR is also on and pushed to the max. I have no issues spotting enemies. Tell me more.

Hi, I have a PG32UCDM OLED as a primary and a PG32UQX miniled as secondary. I also dual-boot CachyOS and Windows. It just depends on how much blooming is going to drive you crazy. I run everything in dark mode so it's apparent everywhere, which is why I moved the PG32UQX as a second screen. But yeh,

Really depends on the monitor though. My four year old PG32UQX has quite good contrast :)

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/1g70gkv/my_impressions_of_asus_pg32uqx_and_xiaomi_g_pro_27/ This might help you decide. Asus seems to have less dark black but more details. I stopped crushing blacks on mine VA Mini Led with some calibration, so I would personally lean more towards Asus, I think i

The triangulated brightening and bloom is not visible on the PG32UQX as it uses an extra layer to block light plus the Quantom dots twist to block additional light/color/brightness bleeding, giving basically OLED blacks. Cheap Mini LED's do not have that 3rd light filter and thus produce bad blacks
