Yes you can remote access your 4th Gen Tablo via VPN

You can as long as the VPN Server you connect to is located on the same network as your Tablo. What they’re doing in the video above is connecting to their ASUS GT-AX11000 router which has a VPN Server built in, then watching the Tablo remotely over cellular data. You’ll need some kind of device run

ISO Very Stable Router For Gaming

Nah, I had the GT AX11000 and while it’s good, it’s not good enough for the features. I even upgraded to the BE98 Pro, and it was so ass. ASUS needs to do much better considering how much they charge people, major disappointment.

Recommended good routers in 2025

old ping but you have no issues whatsoever? I am running an asus gt-ax11000 and it constantly drops my internet. Switching back to my ISP provided router but would like one with more control

A few newbie questions

I get ya, but many times we do have two xboxes and a TV streaming going. Speed wise both pong.com (a great tool btw) and speedtest give give good speed results but sometimes poor pings and lag bloating. I think this is because of the router (ax11000) but not 100%. There's a couple of other reasons I

Running out of options. Internet is essentially dying on every wireless device

Yeah, I actually ran into something really similar—IP address conflicts combined with ARP cache mixups. Devices would randomly lose specific types of connections (like TCP or UDP), or drop off entirely and behave like they were still connected to Wi-Fi but had no internet. I used ChatGPT to help dia

Router na pwede sa dalawang ISP

I have this and wouldn’t reco it for dual wan. Software yung load balancing so your speeds get halved. Like if you have 500Mbps for both ISPs, turning on dual WAN brings your usable speed to 250. And apaka unreliable. Mas ok yung failover nya but pain pa din. Ang good thing lang siguro nito is wifi6

Isolating all IOT devices to one access point (Asus Router)

I do apologize. I missed the fact that you have a GT-AX11000 that you want to use as an access point. Unfortunately, the AX11000 is a consumer grade router, and doesn't support the use of VLANs. You'd need either a prosumer access point that supports VLANs out-of-the-box, or a different WiFi router

Looking for a cable modem/router combo that allows me to limit bandwidth to specific devices.

I've had two Asus routers with QOS: the GT-AX11000 and RT-AX86U. In both cases, enabling QOS resulted in slower wired and wireless connections even when no other activity was going on elsewhere on the network. Disabling QOS would allow my PC to immediately achieve speeds consistent with my ISP's pro

Wired Backend with ASUS GT-AXE16000 and GT-AXE11000 Routers

Just an update... We wound up using the GT-AXE16000 as the main router and hooked up the GT-AX11000 as a node using an ethernet backhaul. When we were using just the GT-AX11000, we seemed to have lots of problems. Especially with devices that were further away from the router. But also tons of misce
