had the same experience going from Astro A30 to the Maxwell. but it depends on the type of music you hear . you would notice that the Maxwell's have a sharper and cleaner sound even with the presence of bass . you can clearly hear every instrument playing while having the bass in the background. unl

Black shark v2 are very decent. hyperx cloud 3 wre nice as well. if you want something really nice get him one of these . steelseries nova pro , turtle beach stealth pro. astro a50 (a30 if the 50 are expensive) didn't detail too much in this but I could say more if you ask . also you mentioned only
