My ascaso dream pid does not have that heat up time. Thermocoil is definitely contentious but I'm definitely happy with the heat up time and the PID.

[$500-2500] Help me find a new simple/durable/fast dual boiler machine?
My ascaso dream pid as well heats up so fast I've never found myself wishing I had a dual boiler. They're good I guess if you are making 8+ lattes for a dinner party but even then.. I just dump steam out the group head and temperature falls fast.

was about to pull the trigger on e61 machine, until i read about brew temperature instability, need help
5-6 milk drinks at a time would be the only reason not to get a single boiler or hx. You would probably want a dual boiler in that case.But those 2 espresso for yourself, you would be better off with a single boiler machine with PID, like a Profitec Go, Quick Mill Pop Up or an ECM Puristika or somet
