New machine [$1500]

Seems like reading is very hard. I wouldn't worry about the pressure. But if you want a heavier maschine take a look at the Ascaso Dream or Steel.

Ascaso Dream vs Sage Bambino [€200]

Ascaso Dream all the way IF it's working. Buying second hand is definitely the way to go with espresso machines!

Should I try to repair it by myself or rather directly to professionals ?

can’t make a decision for your but i’ve had really good luck working on my Ascaso Dream from 2015. parts availability is great, and the machines are fairly easy to work on for novices. it’s unlikely you’ll make anything worse by popping it open and at least having a look.

Constant Single/Double Shots Flashing [Bambino Plus]

For a thermoblock only machine the next step up outside of Breville is Ascaso Dream One but those are around 1.5k in the US

Mittelklasse Empfehlung

How do I clean this part of my machine? [Ascaso Dream Zero]

nice find on a secondhand Ascaso, those are solid machines when they're maintained right. That screen (the shower screen) unscrews pretty easily on most machines, you can take it off and soak it in a cleaning solution to get the old coffee oils out. Some people just use hot water and dish soap but t

Is this normal..?

I totally hear you on the maintenance front. I’m actually upgrading to this Ascaso Dream PID from a Breville and pairing it with a Lagom Casa, so I’m definitely planning on babying this setup! It’s reassuring to know that these are easier to service than most. Once I get the replacement sorted, I'll

Is Ascaso Dream a good starting machine? [$600]

The Ascaso Dream machines are very reliable and consistent. I got my first in 2007, and have used it almost daily. I've only replaced some of the rubber parts (gaskets, o-rings) just to see if I could do it. I have been buying them and refurbishing them as a hobby for the last few years since my ret
