Am considering switching back to Arlo as my current camera from other brand broke. But it seems like the brand has gone downhill according to this subreddit?
I have Arlo Ultra 2 cameras and the 5000 base station and an essential and 2 pro 4s along with a wifi doorbell. All working well together over WiFi to base. However, I am switching to NVR system to save on subscription fees.

Arlo is terrible
+1 Our family has been using Arlo for about six years now… even upgraded the entire set of cameras to the Ultra 2 + added the doorbell. I don’t know what to tell anyone, but it just works for us. I know there are products with better features, but this meets our needs atm. 🤷♂️

Finally giving up on Arlo
The Arlo 2 was only released in 2021 or 2022 I think? 🤔 I remember I bought my Arlo Ultra 1st gen in 2020-2021 and the ultra 2 came out shortly after that. They were expensive at the time.
