…after several months of battling guilt about my purchase. We all know this is an insane case, but incredibly over priced. My thoughts on FF04 ProArt V2 other than the previously mentioned.

I attempted my first delid over the weekend on the CECH-L01 fat ps3 because it was over heating while playing games and had temps in the 70's for the CPU and RSX just in the XMB. This is a CECHH model that normally comes with a 90nm RSX from factory, but Sony refurbished it and put a 40nm inside. These are quite rare as most Sony Frankies are BC units, this is a non BC.

For all of you having overheating problems, this right here is your solution. I have applied copper heatsink to both my gpu and cpu and I’ve also applied adhesive copper sheets to the heat pipes. Those mods have taken my temperatures on my i7 10750H and my RTX 2060 80w from 95 on cpu and 84 on my gp

• removed the APU copper shim, put thermal putty on vram. Now it has separate passive cooling separate from APU, my guess it’s now running cooler as RAM won’t get as hot as APU.

So in short I had my r7 7700x using thermal paste that came with peerless assassin se air cooler , likely had bad thermals and maybe air cooler not as seated , but with Artic mx-6 I’ve noticed over a 15c decrease in temps and now my 7700x won’t go past 85c. No more space heater woo hoo less
