Watch Ultra 3

I finally bought the Apple Watch Ultra 3 today. Super excited to try it out! Looks amazing and feels premium. Anyone else here got it too? What do you think so far?

I’ve been using the Ultra 3 for about a week now, mainly for running (1–2 hours a day, roughly 10h/week, 120km/week) plus strength training or yoga for about an hour daily. I’m very routine-driven: I work from home, never travel much, always home by 6PM, runs in the morning, workouts in the afternoo

Quick story:

Have had an Apple Watch Series 6 for a long time (battery lasted less than a day). Decided to upgrade to the Apple Watch Ultra 3 - The battery lasted less than 48 hours (I’m aware that it’s reported at 42). By design, it’s a decent watch, but the battery life is laughable. It’s a joke.

So I went down a rabbit hole last night because I was bored and started wondering: “How much faster is my Apple Watch Ultra 3 compared to my old iPhone 4s?”

Here’s what I found:
