Ultra 3 or Series 11 titanium?
I was a day 1 adopter of both the original and the Ultra and a number of others in between. I have about 170mm wrist, average build, active, and without a second thought jumped into a Series 1 Ultra. I used it for about a month trying my hardest to accept the trade off of bulkiness and weight with v

Tried apple watch and whoop for a month
I tried wearing an apple series 11 and a Garmin forerunner 965 together for a few days and these are my takeaways from it; Battery life: this doesn’t really warrant a comment here. I have to charge the AW daily and the 965 is 23 days Heart rate tracking: Almost identical. I checked during sleep duri

Watch app TestFlight begins!
I tested the watch app today on my easy run. On my apple watch series 10, 42mm. I Love the design! The screen and Text size was perfectly readable. Few issues/bugs: Is it currently possible to hear the 1km splits through my airpods? I had a distance and activity time discrepancy. During/at the end of

Garmin or Apple Watch
Having owned a Series 10 42mm (the smallest battery), I can assure you it holds its charge very well. Mine is 10 months old and still generally has at least 50% battery after 24 hours of use (sleep tracking, physical activity, often with GPS, and everything else). I had a Garmin Venu 3 before, but I

Thinking of Moving from apple watch to garmin...
I’ve been on the same fence, but here’s my take. And before anyone comes for me, this is for my personal circumstance and if you feel Garmin is better suited for you, then you should totally do that. That said, if I’m missing something, I am open to having my mind changed. Right now my Apple Watch S

Series 11 or Ultra 2
Just recently got rid of my Ultra 1 for a Series 11 Titanium. Personally the ultra was just too big for my wrist size. But an amazing watch. Love the ultra specific watch faces and the durability of it for sure. Something to consider is that the series 11 @ $329 is the aluminum & gps only version (i

Apple Watch suggestions
SE is very capable in my opinion and I would recommend it. I myself upgraded to series 10 after 3 years because I really wanted the bigger and brighter screen. Before considering the Ultra I would strongly suggest to try it on. It is a beast. Whatever you pick, there are ways to reduce cost.- Pick GP

What watch has the best gps for open water swimming.
I have a Garmin Watch (Fenix 6x Pro) and an Apple Watch (Series 10) and they both have pros and cons. The Garmin watch has amazing battery life (over a week of wearing it, over 24 hours of GPS recording), and it’s easy to read, and it has physical buttons that you can use with wet hands. It’s not ve

Upgrading from Trex 2 to 3 or Garmin/coros
I find them to be surprisingly good. I do tend to use my Helio band as an external HRM on my bicep if I’m running. The T-Rex 3 itself has never shown me any questionable recordings, but the Quantified Scientist’s YouTube review and tests of the Helio showed it to be staggeringly good. I trail run a
